As part of making our facilities conforming to code, the banquet greenhouse are getting a new roof.
Before the roof was 2 sheet of 6mill plastic sheets with air blown in between the 2 sheets. This plastic is very flammable and we are now changing this with a double none flammable fiberglass like sheeting. No more noise from the wind and less noise from the rain. We also chose copper color instead of crystal clear.This comes at a cost of $70.000.00 but we are very excited about it and will keep your posted.

the first 16 sheet, it looks great from the outside but much better from the inside.
we are now the 27 of may and we are half done the first wedding is on Saturday. 31
first wedding outside 1 of June followed by an cocktail party on the patio.
It is now Friday the 30 of May 7 am and the installers are just about done.
that will give us about a whole day to clean up, check the lightning and the sound system and we are back in the wedding business.
Last night was rehearsal night, and the wedding party was very exited.
I also had the first rehearsal for an outdoor wedding, I am exited about that I just hope that the whether will behave for Sunday so it can go on as planned.
But if not we go inside.

The 2 locking strips are banged together and these two workers are holding against the inside strip while the top is hammered in place. This is also the look from inside. I will take pictures tomorrow when the tables and every things are done for the wedding .

We had a very strong thunder shower going through this morning and the sound on the new roof is 50% less than the rest of the place.
There have been so many people to day with so many bookings
I promise I will do the calendar next also we are opening up May of 2009 for weddings more to come.
